The rainy season has officially begun. The ground is very thirsty and the farmers are glad for the rain. Elvis planted some corn, zucchini and a couple of other vegetables on the backside of the hill and they have already sprouted.

The ministry was given 250 trees to plant on our land in the back. This is truly a blessing and we appreciate the work that teacher Estefani did in getting this donation. She is pictured here with Elvis and the tree farm worker.

Last Monday was a work day for the dads of our students. We ended up having some of our staff and even one of our Deaf church members come and help dig a trench up the hill. There were 17 guys in all.

The rain has not hindered the construction. It’s actually helping to compact the soil used for fill. We have made another short video update that you can see by clicking here\u00a0https:\/\/youtu.be\/CI_mgw86VFE<\/a>. The church building and workshop\/apartments are starting to take shape. It’s exciting to see. \u00a0 Mario is doing well as you can see. He’s been helping out at the property and he is a fantastic worker for 14 years old.

The parents are learning sign language and it’s good thing. Parent participation is on the rise. Praise the Lord! Classes are going well. We’ve got a great bunch of teachers. This coming Saturday is our Fellowship Saturday and there are several Deaf people coming from Guatemala City. Please pray that we can minister to their needs. \u00a0
