January is always a busy month because of school starting soon but it’s even busier now due to all the work going on concerning the property. Permit me to give you a quick rundown. \u00a0

School is scheduled to start on February 21st unless the government here changes it’s mind. Each class will meet one day per week with schoolwork packets going home with the students. There were about 37 to 40 parents who came to the parent meetings on Tuesday of this week. There are lots of new students signed up this year. The teachers have been working hard getting ready for their classes. We hired two new teachers, more on that in the next update. \u00a0

The excavation of the property is proceeding nicely. We should be able to start construction within two weeks. We need to hire several masons to do the block and cement work. Please be praying that we find the right people. Greg will work with Melki and Edwin on some rough plumbing, electrical and retaining walls. Check out the pictures below.

One of the things that I like about Guatemala is how the country is so colorful. The flowers are colorful, the buildings and even their TOILETS. I was in the hardware store the other day and had to take this picture and show it to you. What color of toilet do you like best?<\/td><\/tr>

In person church services will begin again on February 6th. It’s been almost two years since we have been able to gather. Hopefully, our Fellowship Saturday will soon begin as well. \u00a0
