Hello Everyone,                                                                              August 19, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Progreso is still in a “Red Zone” high alert area for the coronavirus. Some things are starting to open though. Transportation, buses etc. are minimally operating. Schools may open in a few weeks but we will see. The end of the school year is at the end of September to the middle of October depending on the school. To open for just a few days\/weeks is pointless. Two weeks ago, our staff had the privilege of giving groceries to 80 families. Elvis took a video of a deaf woman named Lucky thanking us for the food. It was touching. She said that her husband was not able to work and that the food was a blessing. Many of you have been giving to help us feed the families in Guatemala. So I pass on her “thank you” to you with the following picture. We thank you too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, 82 families will get groceries delivered to their door via our staff. God is good. It takes several days to order, pick up, sort and bag the groceries and then deliver to each family. A big THANKS to our staff for all their hard work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeanette and I are planning on attending. We will be driving back East starting on Labor Day weekend to visit some friends and our daughter Hannah and her family. She is pregnant with number 2 so please pray for her. We’re not sure if we will be able to share in any churches but we are going to try to meet with people and share in smaller settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
