Hello Everyone,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 September 13, 2019 I am happy to report that the deaf camp was a huge success. Four people dedicated their lives to Christ for the first time and five or so people rededicated their lives to following Christ. The activities were well organized and our staff did an excellent job in planning everything. Many thanks to Iglesia Bautista Renacer (Rebirth Baptist Church) in Connecticut for sponsoring most of the camp. My team won the sports events for the weekend. Yahoooo! It was hot and humid but very beautiful and right on the shore of the Caribbean. Thanks to all who prayed for this weekend.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis Sunday is Guatemala’s\nIndependence Day, September 15th. The school held a celebration marking the\nspecial day in the lives of the students. This year’s celebration was the best\nso far with all of the children doing a great job in the parts that they played.\nIt’s always fun to learn about the history of your country. \n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school year is\ncoming to an end in two weeks. School starts next year on the 28th of January.\nWe are expected to have over 50 students. Please pray for the following needs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The establishment of\nan official sign language for Guatemala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wisdom for the staff\nin all of the areas of their work, with the students, parents and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students will be\nspending their vacation in their homes where most are not able to communicate\nwith their families. It is often a very difficult time for them. Please pray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our trip across\ncountry is coming up soon. We will be speaking in several churches back east\nand of course we want to speak in as many churches as we can in the Southern\nCalifornia area. Give us a call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finances. Praise God\nJuly was a very good month but August was a very low month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please be praying for\nthe future needs of this ministry in terms of staff and volunteers. The harvest\nis plenty but the workers are few. Is God calling you to Guatemala?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
