We are back in Guatemala after a busy time in the USA. The main reason we returned this summer was to attend the wedding of our daughter Julia who married Daniel DeYoung on July 21st. It was a beautiful “country style” wedding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBut it turned out that was\nnot the only reason for returning. Through an anonymous donor God blessed us\nwith a trip to Israel. Julia was not certain of the date for the wedding so we\nplanned on returning for June and July. The Israel trip was the first 10 days\nof June. God’s timing is perfect.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJeanette is busy with\nhomeschooling again. Mario is a good student and smart. He attends the school\nhere Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the mornings and then Jeanette\nteaches him in the afternoons and Mondays and Fridays. He has a lot of catching\nup to do since he did not have an opportunity to learn for so many years.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis year’s school\nexcursion was a trip to Antigua. The students learned a little about the\nhistory of the third capital of Guatemala. We also toured a chocolate factory,\nyum, yum. For most of the students this was their first visit to one of the\noldest cities in Latin America.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer requests:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yulissa has stomach\nproblems. Please pray for healing and that the medication will take away the\nproblem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pedro stayed home today\nand is very sick. Please pray for healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pray for the health of\nall the students and staff. It’s been raining quite a bit lately and that seems\nto always bring more illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our staff is helping\nwith a deaf camp the last weekend of this month. We will have over 50 people\nattending so please pray that God’s word will be presented clearly. Pray that\nwe will all travel safely and have a good, safe time there. The camp is in\nIzabal, about 6 or 7 hours from here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pray for the finances to\ncome in. The summer months seem to be a bit slimmer than we would like. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
