Hello Everyone,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 February 17, 2014<\/p>\n

The school year is off to a great start.\u00a0 We are averaging about 20 students per day with more expected to come.\u00a0 Thanks to many generous donors at the end of last year, we were able to hire some additional teachers and staff.\u00a0 Gustavo and Ingrid (both deaf) have joined our team.\u00a0 We bought some much needed video equipment and Gustavo is working on making videos of signs, Bible stories and dramas.\u00a0 Ingrid is teaching in one of the classes.\u00a0 Sara (deaf) is teaching with Ingrid and helps with the cleaning, cooking and dishes.\u00a0 Febe (hearing) is a teacher and continues her education on Saturday for her psychology degree.\u00a0 School is held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.\u00a0 As you recall, Jonathan and Aura’s school, Escucha Mis Manos is not fully legal since we do not have a playground yet.
\nOther adult classes are held during some of the afternoons and on Fridays.\u00a0 The carpentry workshop will begin next Monday.\u00a0 Church services are going well.\u00a0 The small deaf congregation in Mita has moved and is sharing a church with a hearing congregation.\u00a0 Please be praying for the deaf people in Mita.<\/p>\n
