Dear Friend,
In just a few short days we, Lord willing, will be returning to Poland. Our departure date is Aug. 15. For me (Doug) it will have been more than 6 months that I’ve spent in the States. For Lila and Philip, 2 months. It has been good to spend time with the Lord, getting to know Him better, reflecting on the past and what He has done and praying and thinking about the future. We have been able to spend time with family and friends as well as building relationships with many new people. We have even been able to get to know several new Christian groups.
Please pray that God will build His church in Nowy Sacz. It has been fun visiting churches and individuals and showing them pictures of the church in Rabka. People have been able to see, with their own eyes, the answers to what they have been praying for for years – that God would build His church in Rabka. We look forward, Lord willing, to showing similar pictures of the church in Nowy Sacz (which doesn’t exist right now, but I believe exists in the heart of God).
We are grateful for God’s abundant provision, through His people, while we’ve been here. What a blessing to have had a comfortable house to live in and a dependable car to use. We are grateful for all the generous financial gifts we’ve received. We have been made to feel very loved, appreciated and supported. We know we aren’t alone in the ministry God has called us to.
When I came to the States at the beginning of February we had about 62% of our needed monthly support. Right now we have about 84%. We would love to be able to return to Poland with 100% of our monthly support. Would you please prayerfully consider helping us reach that goal? Maybe you would like to begin partnering with us or could put us in touch with groups or individuals who might be interested.
