Hello Everyone,
During the last two weeks I have been busy repairing the house that the church is going to use for a training center. Pastor Elvis and Yulissa are moving into it on Monday the 27th. It took three days just to get the electrical repaired and it is still not quite finished. The kitchen is just bare walls and so this past week Elvis and I built cabinets for a sink. The water cistern needs repairs and the water pump will be installed this week. To start off, Elvis wants to teach reading and writing Spanish.
Yesterday was the first meeting of the year for the campamento in November. There were 20 people including our family for dinner and 7 people spent the night. Jeanette and the ladies got up early to do some cooking for a bake sale to raise money for the Congreso in July. They sold almost everything and earned about $50.
This coming weekend is a missions conference for missionaries in Guatemala. Myself, Jeanette and Julia will attend leaving Joshua and Luke at home. We are looking forward to connecting with other missionaries and letting people know about GDM.
